Well that is the one I picked out. It's fun, so I am going to start. I have two brother's and three sister's. Karen 38, David 35, Me 33, Amie 30, Joe, 27, Lisa 22.
I don't know which stories to tell with each one, because I have so many to tell.
I will Start with the Oldest Karen: I remember that we were in California on a trip to Disneyland for the first time I was eight years old and I think Karen was either 13, or 14. We were getting ready to go somewhere, and often if we went on a trip, my mom would buy us each an outfit. I remember that particular day Karen took forever in the hotel bathroom, putting her makeup on and doing her hair just right. I remember the outfit that she was wearing. It was a white t-shirt with a picture of a seagull and a beach and then turqoise blue shorts. She finally finished and I think we were going to get into the astro van and as we were about to load up a Segull flew by and all of the sudden you hear. "AHHHHH". we had all turned around to see what the problem was and my sister Karen was looking down at her outfit and there was a white blob on her shirt. A segull had flown over and pooped right on her. She was disgusted and had to go change her shirt. I guess you had to be there, but we were all laughing so hard. That is the first story that popped into my head about my sister. :) David: mmmmmmm which one do I pick. just sec I have to think about that one......okay I have one. My brother loved to watch WWF wrestling and of course he thought it was real wrestling, well all he had at the time before my brother joe came, it was just us girls Karen, me and Amie. We had a trampoline in our backyard and we would be jumping on the tramp minding our own buisness and then my brother dave would sneak up on us and try out the moves on us that he learned on the wrestling show. Sometimes it was okay, but other times we would yell for mom to come out and intervene so we wouldn't get hurt. I think that we were relieved when my brother Jonathan was born. My brother Loved to pick on us and tease us to the point where we would either yell for mom or tell him to stop. He doesn't do that anymore. :) to be continued. :)Fairbourn Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07192634830481388132noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-910547687797520248.post-6690032004415133022010-09-16T19:55:00.000-07:002010-09-16T20:10:03.403-07:00whitney's word's and signs.Okay I have to hurry because I am way past my bedtime, but I just wanted to write down the words and signs that whitney can say and sign.

She can say:
Please
thx
Where did it go?
There it is.
Who's that?
what's that?
I know
bye
Hi
All Done
Mom
Dad
Grandpa- but it's pampa
Abbey
coke-thx to karen :)
More
No
Yes
bubble
boo
duck
clock
shhh
If you ask her she can point to her ears, eyes, noes, Knees, toes, head and shoulder's.
She can say the animal sounds Moo, Neigh, quack, rrrrrahhh(for bear, tiger, lion.)
baaa, bark, meow
drink
dog
Come here, but it's like more like Mere.
cracker
cookie
up
hop
truck
car

She can sign.
All done
More
Thx
Kiss
Please
Blanket
Baby
Potty
diaper
milk
sleep
love
duck
up
eat
drink
kitty
mom
dad

Well that's all for now that i can think of, I love it that she can talk and sign :) she is on her way to being billingual. :)Fairbourn Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07192634830481388132noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-910547687797520248.post-65741615429725021642010-08-09T14:22:00.000-07:002010-08-09T21:12:17.108-07:00TrekIt's been a long summer and I am so behind on updating our summer! This summer in June our ward went on the Pioneer Trek in Wyoming. There were lot's of events that lead up to going. We had wonderful Firesides and Great Dinners. I really wanted Travis to go, but he wasn't so Keen about going, but I felt that we needed to do this as a family. Our ward went on June 9, 10, 11th. Travis had a load so we had to go up a little later than everyone else. I was so excited to get there and bond with our ward. We didn't get there until Thursday Evening. I didn't know where our ward was camping so we ended up touring the sites at the visitor center. It was neat to see Travis's Great, Great, Great Grandparents names on the wall. James Barnett Cole and Lucy Ward. I couldn't believe when they showed us what 17 lbs was. That is all they could take with them for each family member. It was basically a change of clothes, a few books, a blanket, utensils and a pair of Shoes. We finished with the tour and asked where our ward was camping. We found our ward, but it started to storm! There was a microburst and families in our ward were Literally trying to keep their Tents from blowing away. I went to go look for our tent that we were going to borrow. I got stuck in the Microburst and the rain felt like Pins and Needles. All I could think about was "how in the world did the Pioneers do it and it was in the middle of Winter!! They couldn't get in their cars and get warm. The storm was over in about 30 minutes and the clouds parted and the sun started to come out. I guess when we found our tent they were mopping it out. I guess their was a inch of rain in the bottom of our tent. We unloaded our things and set up our tent. It was getting dark and it started to get cold. I put Whitney's p.j's on her and we settled dwon for the night. I was bundled up and hunkered down for the night. We are pretty Lucky because we were able to bundle up, the Pioneers didn't have that. Some of them slept under their tents, because they had no blankets and used their tents as blankets, but their hair would get frozen to the ground and sometimes they would have to cut off their hair so they could get up and keep going. I actually got hot during the night, but I don't think that Trav slept very well because he was worried about Whitney being cold. Her face was ice cold, but for some reason the cold doesn't seem to bother kids, The next morning I woke up about 5:30 a.m. That day we were going to hike to the Sweetwater River. I forgot to Mention that I was six months pregnant, so the doctor told me that I could only hike two miles and that was it! We missed out on hiking to Martin's Cove so I was really excited about hiking to the Sweetwater River! When we got there, we all got our handcarts and got into our groups that we were assigned to. We were in the Howarth's group. We filled up our water bottles and got our carts ready to go. The missionaires briefed us and then told us that the River had flooded over and that it was really muddy and that some places that the mud would be up to our Knees. The weather was cool, it wasn't hot at all and we started off! I did really good up until one of the little streams that we needed to cross. Ladies were jumping over the streams. Brother Boulton was carrying ladies over and he did a great job. and then I was worried about falling in and he came over and said that he would give me a ride over the stream! he started to jump over and then he landed in the water and he got wet! I felt so bad that he was wet, but he never complained, he just smiled and kept going on! :) We got to the sweetwater river and it looked deep! People started crossing over and they weren't kidding when they said it was deep! There was no way of getting around it, we had to cross. I can't remember who helped me across, but when I stepped into the Sweetwater River I started to feel for the Pioneers. After I got out of the water. I felt the Spirit so strong that I couldn't contain my emotions anymore. There was a Missionary standing by me and said, "Are you alright." I started to cry and told her that this place was very spiritual and I could tell that the Pioneers REALLY had been there! I could feel there spirit Strongly. They weren't kidding when they said that the Pioneers were able to Linger there, because it's true!!! I didn't actually see anyone, but I DID feel the presence of someone beside me! Even typing this right now the spirit is REALLY STRONG! After everyone was out of the river, they re-enacted the rescue. Of the three boys who gave up their lives so that some of them could stay dry. Before they re-enacted babies were crying and kids were laughing, but when they started the re-enactment. YOU COULD HEAR A PIN DROP. It was so quiet. A Gentleman began singing a song and soon you could hear a number of people crying. Including me! The spirit was so strong!! After they were done a missionary said how cold it was when they went through the sweetwater river and said that the women's skirts didn't dry for two weeks! I found out later that their skirts were made out of wool. No wonder they didn't dry!
We Walked a little longer and then we stopped for Lunch. I was so hungry that a Turkey sandwhich tasted great to me. After Lunch it was going to be the Women's pull. That meant that the women were going to pull the carts up the hill by themselves. This represented when the Men either had to go off to war, or they got called on Mission's or they died from exposure from the cold. Travis was so sweet and was worried about me continuing to go on and so Sister Sorensen said that they would Rover me up the Mountain for the Women's Pull. They rovered me up to the top of the Mountain. Bishop wood had all of the men hike to the top of the mountain and the Lined up on Both sides to make a path. Then Bishop had each guy say something good about their wives. I was waiting for Travis's turn. I was a little worried about what he said, but he said. " I love her Determination." :) I am glad that he said it. Anyway...after all the Bretheren got done it was time for the Girls to pull their handcarts up the Mountain. Bishop Wood asked all the Bretheren to be silent and show respect as the sister's went up. Again as the sister's began up the Mountain it was silent and no babies cried, and the after the sister's got up the Mountain, some of the Men began to cry! Again it was so spiritual to see all of the women work together and help each other out to pull the carts. I imagine that the Pioneer sisters did the same. That song comes to Mind. "As sisters in Zion we all pull together." Because that is what our ward did. I didn't take any pictures but I have this all on my video camera. It was so AWESOME to see everyone helping out everyone else. As soon as some of the sister's got to the top of the Mountain, they would go back down and help the other sister's up the hill. How touching that was for me. As all of the sister's got up the Hill the boys started to sing. "Come Come ye saints and that is when I lost it! I can't describe the feelings that came over me. Again the Spirit was so strong! After everyone got up to the top of the Mountain, Men were crying and so were the women and you would see husband and wives hug each other and tell each other how much they loved and admired what they did for them. This is a side note and is kinda off the subject.
I am so grateful to my sweet Husband Travis for EVERYTHING he does for me and Whitney. He has always given me the best! Made sure that I was taken care of and some of you don't know this, but he saved my life at one point when I was deep into depression and took care of me and got the help that I needed, even when people told him not to get me the help I needed. Travis is a wonderful Dad to our sweet little girl Whitney! She just adores him! When he comes home from the road, she wants Daddy and not me! Travis is the most compassionate person that you would ever meet and has a HUGE heart! He has sacrificed so much for me and is a very hard worker! He never gives up and he is my rock and I am so glad that I met and married this wonderful man! He is my best friend and I love him so much and my love grows for him each day, even when things are hard! :) Thanks to him for a great eight years of marriage!
I can imagine that the pioneer women did the same thing and pulled together for each other and probably helped some of the sister's survive that awful time.
It was time to head back to camp, but because I was sixth months pregnant, I couldn't hike back and so they took me back in the rover to the start of the Trek. I had Whitney with me and she was so tired and it was beginning to storm again. I went into the visitor center and they had a movie and asked if I would like to watch it. I was still soaked from crossing the river, but Whitney was dry except for her diaper and Travis had the keys to the car..... (to be continued) :)Fairbourn Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07192634830481388132noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-910547687797520248.post-54252180015999591342010-07-19T12:41:00.000-07:002010-07-19T15:20:37.503-07:00Memorial Day/ My Birthday<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIRnNGssAi_BINNNgPK6X38XLTzfIZUmFqcEpyimC25OCkIMqPsrBz-hz6fnoI0_WATwClVoPmwrOmBzonwB3BJ2V1JB9ZWo64KWPPIgRodwzK9cm03PSUG5aikmirPnX8Tu0pvVpZISFp/s320/026.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5495705203742315458" />

I love this picture of Whitney. Memorial Day this year fell on My Birthday. Travis was in town and so we decided to have the traditional Memorial Day BBQ at out house. During the day it didn't feel like it was my birthday, it just felt like a typical day. Cleaning the house and cooking. I love to clean......NOT! Anyway we invited everyone down to our house in Santaquin. Travis invited his brother and his wife and family to come down. We had a great turn-out and it was perfect weather too! I had a blast just hanging out with everyone, we missed Karen and Deric, but I understood. :) I didn't want anyone to leave and I was sad to see everyone leave. It was fun and we had great food. Thanks to everyone that made my Birthday Great! Thanks Travis for the awesome party!!!! and the cool Iron. I love it.Fairbourn Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07192634830481388132noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-910547687797520248.post-10543497995161296862010-07-19T12:34:00.000-07:002010-07-19T12:41:22.323-07:00Easter Sunday<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhyzTLW3n5eRURsdYrpu_I6E-ofvz_MdWqE56go-t1Vb7LKgHXR8GqCQYYv0YlO8AJv4p1eiVemkFDldi09RUe8WYOV51BgnPBo6XJhRYNya61_JLC_5I7GGEeyqyVUu-xzvwNRFS5DVC85/s320/006.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5495704557397673106" />Fairbourn Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07192634830481388132noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-910547687797520248.post-7466047677129790922010-06-08T21:29:00.000-07:002010-06-08T21:43:14.293-07:00What it's been three months?Oh my heavens!!!! It has been three months since I last updated my blog, can you say SLACKER!! I guess it has been really busy and work and I am just lazy to type. Typing is a lot easier than writing, your hand doesn't get as tired and I can type faster than I can write, so why have I been procrastinating so long? Because I am just plain LAZY!! I was really tired all the time at the End of the day. I guess I will update you on all of the Exciting News! January 19, 2010 found out that we are expecting our second child, This was NOT planned. I was so in shock!!! I was kind of upset, because I just lost all of the pregnancy weight and the first thing that went acrossed my mind is I have to GAIN WEIGHT AGAIN!!! I was not excited, I struggle with the weight issue for a long time now, I know every girl does, but I am really concious about how I look etc... Anyway I called Travis and told him I was pregnant and he was so excited!!! He asked me how I felt about it and I said nothing, I wasn't ready to be a mom again and to two children, it's hard enough as it is with Travis working and gone all of the time. I keep asking myself how in the world am I going to handle two when Trav is gone, I hope I don't get post partum depression like last time, it was not fun!!! Anyway the other thought that went through my head is I need to find a different o.b. My last experience with birth was not good and Whitney ended up in the NICU and that was hell in itself, I won't get into that now, but I new that I needed to get a different doctor. I started asking around and found Dr. Nance in Springville. I am used to going to a female doctor, so I was a little nervous, but my first visit he was so kind and gentle and I felt like I was really importnant to him and that we was very concerned about that I had two miscarriages, so I got a early ultrasound and there it was a little heartbeat, beating so fast and the baby was the size of a bean, but I could tell it was going to be a baby. To make a long story short, May 12, 2010 we found out that we are going to have another girl, I got over my self pity and moved on and now I am so excited that we are going to have another girl!!!! The Ultrasound was awesome and Travis couldn't be there, but I brought my sister Karen with me, and I am glad that I did, because what happened if something was wrong and I was by myself? But everything turned out great! She is Healthy as far as we know and she is Due October 2, 2010, but they are going to Keep it September 29, 2010, because he doesn't want me to go over at all! Which is fine with me. :) I will continue our update soon, but now I need to go to bed, because I am tired! :) I will try better to update and continuing to update on my life, but for now goodnight.Fairbourn Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07192634830481388132noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-910547687797520248.post-59390102355567028082010-03-06T21:00:00.000-08:002010-03-06T21:29:30.536-08:00New's Eve Party 2009Well I thought that I was caught up on my blog, but I'm not. So I think after this I will be caught up for 2009.

My sister Karen is one that got all of the Brother's and Sister's together, and she hosted a New Year's Eve party at her house. Everyone was to bring a treat to share and we were going to hang out and play games and the Wii (which I lOVE to play) Anyway I think the hit of the night was the Game called "What's Yours Like." If you have never played this game it is a blast and it get really funny!! So the game goes like this, One person in the group thinks of a word like "house" and then they write it down and pass it around and everyone sees the word except for the person who has to guess the word. So the Person that guesses that guesses the word asks each person this question: "What's Yours Like?" and the person that is asking that word is trying to guess the word house, but the other person can't say what the word is. So when they ask you the question '"What's Your Like?" then you can answer like this. ''Mine is big and White." they go around and each person in the group what's yours like and they ask that until they get the word right. Well our game was getting pretty funny and it was fun, then it was Deric's turn to pick the word. So he wrote it down and passed it to everyone except for I think it was Bryce who was guessing the word. Anyway They asked each person the question. See if you can guess the word This is what some of us said: "It is Big and White.", "I got it for Christmas." Then the classic was when they got to Travis and he said the Quote of the year!!!! "He said, "Well I was playing with it about a month ago and it almost caust me my Marriage?" Everyone started laughing because they Knew what he was talking about, but it sounded so dang funny! If you don't know the word yet, It was the word Wii Control . I guess you would of had to be in Arizona at thanksgiving to get it. I know some of you that are reading this are utterly confused, but I am going to explain it. :) At thanksgiving time, all of us went to my brother's House in Arizona and one night my brothers and my brother-in-laws were playing the new mario brothers game on the wii, so it was Deric, Dave, Travis and Bryce, if you know all of these guys you know that they have all VERY DIFFERENT personalities. Anyway.... they had four players and four wii remotes and I walked in and saw that that my brother dave was getting a little frustrated because he kept dying in the game and that when he asked everyone to follow him or get him out of the bubble then some of them would help and some of them won't then I saw the Yellow guy trailing a long and not doing so well. I asked who it was and my husband Travis piped up and said that it was him and that I was going to "divorce" him, because he wasn't doing well at the game. HA ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. So anyway that is why he said that awesome quote at the party. I guess if you weren't there, I guess it is one of those situations that you have to be there to be able to get it, but if you are my family reading this and you were there, then you know what I am talking about :P I don't think that I will ever forget that party, it was really fun hanging out with my family and I love it when we get together and have fun and there is no DRAMA! :) Anyway the next Day was NewYears Day and we all went out to Good Wood BBQ for dinner and had a lot fun there too! Thanks Karen for a GREAT PARTY. I will never forget it!!!!

P.S. And there was A LOT of GREAT food!!!Fairbourn Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07192634830481388132noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-910547687797520248.post-84431649799571722012010-02-06T15:17:00.000-08:002010-02-06T16:06:40.461-08:00Christmas 2009I have decided that it has been long enough and that I need to catch up on our blog! I am way behind and it isn't funny. I think after this that I will be all caught up. I forgot to say in my Last Blog that on November 12, 2009 Whitney took off crawling, she didn't need any help she just started to book it and from then on, she has been into EVERYTHING. We still need to get a stair gate, but she has seemed to not want to go down the stairs, so I haven't gotten one, but will soon. Alright, I guess I will start with how Christmas went. It was GREAT. Last year was Whitney's first Christmas, but she was so Little that she didn't know what was going on, and this year I don't think she knew either, she liked the boxes more than the toys that were inside :) We always have a Christmas Tradition of having the Bezzant Family Christmas Party ever since I can remember, and I am pretty sure that it started even before that. Anyway The Bezzant Christmas party was Held at the Lion's Club House in Pleasant Grove, It is good, because the extended family has grown so much that I don't think that there is a house big enough to fit ALL of us in there. We had a nice pot luck Dinner, Bonnie and Grandpa provided the Pizza and then we were assigned different food assignments for our families, we were to bring a dessert. It was a pretty good meal and then every year it is a tradition to have Grandpa Bezzant read the Savior's birth out of the Scriptures and we usually have someone play Mary This year was the Following cast.
Mary-Abbey Christensen
Joesph-Canon
Baby Jesus- I think it was Brad, Kellli and Jason's little boy.
Shephards- Porter Shelley, Braxton Christensen, Stella Fowles(which she loved to touch "baby jesus" :) Aiden Borchardt
Angels- Hannah Shelley, Whitney Fairbourn, Gracie Borchardt, and I think there were a few others but I can't remember who.
Anyway Grandpa and the Great Grandkids did a great job! It is so Entertaining to watch Everyone and to see the kids have a blast and be involved. It made me miss Grandma Bezzant even more. My sister Lisa said it great "Grandma was Christmas." The Things I miss about Grandma is spending the Holidays with them. I loved how every year she would give all of us Girls Christmas Dresses, and it was great to go look at her Village, there was so many houses and lights, she even had a train under the christmas tree. I loved her Tree because there was so many ornaments that they all filled every single branch on the tree and then she would add one more ornament to the tree and that tree was FULL :) I really missed her a lot this year!!! I am probably pretty sure that she was there in spirit at the Christmas party, because that brought her joy! Grandma always made the holidays fun and she knew the TRUE meaning of Christmas!
Before the Christmas Party I had to drive past Grandma and Grandpa's house even though it was dark I could picture the Christmas tree in the Window and the White Flocked Christmas Tree in the White room. I am glad that I drove past :)
We also have a tradition to eat Christmas Eve Dinner with my family at my Mom and Dad's house, I really liked it because it is fun to see everyone excited for Santa to come, it is cute to watch my Nieces and Nephews play and this year Whitney enjoyed all the cousins and it was a very yummy dinner, there was so MUCH food that you didn't have enough room on your plate for everything, so you had to go back and there was yummy apple pie for desseret and Cereal Candy and Divinity, I don't remember how many pieces I ate, but I know that I gained about 3lbs just eating Christmas Eve dinner. I had fun hanging out with my Brother and Sisters and it was nice because we were ALL there. After dinner Mom read the "The Night Before Christmas". I think this was the second year that we have read that story and I hope it contiues, because it really does put you in that Christmas Spirit.
This Christmas we put up our pre-lit Christmas tree, from when we got married and we turned it on and NOTHING, no lights notta. I asked around to see how you get the christmas lights working again on the tree and someone told me that you have to go through each light to see which ones were burned out! WHAT? No way I wasn't about to do that, so me and Trav decided that we needed another Christmas tree, for when we finish our down stairs basement and that we should have two trees. So we went out and Looked and we got a White Flocked tree and Trav put the Lights on it, We decided not to get a pre-lit one, because they are a pain, if one light goes out then they all go out, so we decided to put our own lights on and I thought it worked much better. I thought that our tree looked great. We had to put the ornmanets up higher this year, because Whitney thought it was great to pull the decorations off the tree and throw them like a ball. Not a good idea! But to a one year old, they were just balls to her, not breakables. :) Anyway... the next morning was Christmas and we had lots of presents to open. This year I asked for a Wii Fit and I got it! :) Wahoo! Thanks Santa, I also got a cute hoodie from aeropostle and p.j's. Also a pretty toothbrush holder. I gave Travis two pair of jeans, Fog lights for his semi, A glenn beck DVD, and Work Gloves. This year Whitney scored with Santa, lets just say he had a hard time choosing her gifts, because there were so many cute things that he made and he couldn't decide on which gifts to give her, but She got a Stroller that helps her walk, she got a rocking horse that turns into a ride-on, and she got a "Little People" House and also she got a great cell phone from Grandma and Grandpa Bezzant and her First Dolly from Tyson. I think she was a little overwhelmed but she has fun with her toys and I was excited to have Trav put them together :) he he. After we opened presents we went up to my mom's house again and opened presents from the person who drew our name, I had Amie, Trav had Dave, and Whitney had Landon. Lisa had my Name and Bryce had Travis's name and Tyson had Whitney. This is what we got and we love it.
I got Picture Frames from Lisa
Trav got two pocket book of mormons and a card for his computer to download pictures from his phone.
Whitney got her Dolly from Tyson and I already mentioned she got a cell phone from Grandma and Grandpa.
And for the Family mom and Dad gave us Moving Santa and Mrs. Clause, and I am really excited to put them up next year and let the move to the groove :) After we had Lunch we went up to Travis's Brother's house up in Roy, Utah. It was nice we had Christmas dinner and hung out and played the wii, and also we stayed the night and had a blast! I am already looking forward to next year Christmas!Fairbourn Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07192634830481388132noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-910547687797520248.post-30273770917326056702010-01-12T20:45:00.001-08:002010-01-12T20:45:57.267-08:00Thanksgiving 2009This Thanksgiving my mom and dad decided to down to Arizona to see my brother Dave and his Wife Lori and there daughter Ila. So, all of my brother’s and sister’s decided to go down too! We had done it before and we had a blast. The weather was warm the last time that we went and went swimming in NOVEMBER. The only family member that didn’t go down, was my younger sister Lisa and her Husband Kellen. Before we left Whitney was sick and Travis was sick and I started to feel sick, but we had already booked the hotel and I decided it wasn’t going to be bad and that we would be fine and we would get better. I was WRONG. I started to get more congested and my ears started to hurt and it hurt to swallow. We mostly stayed in our hotel and slept, it was 75 degrees outside and it was beautiful, but we were So sick, that we didn’t even go swimming and it was PERFECT weather to go swimming. Whitney started to feel better, but I was getting worse .We did a little shopping and had ate dinner at Dave’s, but we didn’t do much, because we were SO sick. We came back home, and on the way backI felt like CRAP it was bad, I wanted to die. We came home and I went to bed, I was so tired and I was extremely miserable and truly did want to die. We went to the Dr. and they said that Trav had a virus and that I had a virus and a Ear infection. The Dr. put me on Anti-biotics and I thought I was going to feel better soon, but after two days I wasn’t getting any better, I was actually getting worse, so Travis decided that I needed to go the Dr. again, but we would try a different doctor. We went up to the Spanish Fork Clinic and I saw Dr. Lytle, he looked in both of my ears and said that I had a double ear infection and that I probably had a virus too. I started to cry and he said “What is Wrong? I told him that I was miserable and that I was hurting, he prescribed a new anti-biotic and gave me some cough syrup and pain medication. I really liked him and he was really nice and very compassionate. I think we found a doctor who is not a idiot and knows what he is doing! Hopefully next Thanksgiving we will be well and not sick. Now that we are well, I want to go to Arizona again and get warm!Fairbourn Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07192634830481388132noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-910547687797520248.post-2925341846958359532010-01-02T22:47:00.000-08:002010-01-03T21:14:27.363-08:00Whitney's Birthday PartyWell.... Sorry it has taken me so long to update our blog, but we have been super busy and now I have 10 minutes before I need to go to bed, so I will type fast. The day after her Birthday it was time for her Birthday Party!! I was really excited, this was going to be the first time for cake and Ice Cream. I was excited and had it in my mind that she was going to go for it and dig into the cake. My Family came down to Santaquin, Utah and we had dinner and then it was time for Whitney to open presents, she got a lot of cute toys she got a cute "Little People" school bus from Aunt Amie and Uncle Bryce and their kids and then Aunt Karen and their family gave her a "Little People" suv and Aund Lori and Uncle Dave and Ila gave her a cute airplane that you put little balls and it plays music. Grandma and Grandpa Bezzant gave her cute p.j.'s that had little Ballerinas on them and then Grandma Fairbourn gave her some money. Grandma Sheryl lives in Ohio and we don't get to see her very often, but we are grateful for her. Also she got some money from Great Grandpa Bezzant and his wife Bonnie. After we opened presents then I sat her back in her high chair for Cake and Ice Cream. I made chochlate cupcakes and a cake. Like I said before I thought she was going to dig in and make a mess! WRONG she was very dainty and girl like and picked off the sprinkles and ate them one by one, a true girl! She does not like to get messy. She was really cute and then it was time for the Ice Cream! She LOVED the ice cream and ate the whole bowl that I gave her. It was a great party and we had lot's of fun with the family and it was a great memory that I will never forget.Fairbourn Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07192634830481388132noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-910547687797520248.post-69417546820089830072009-10-31T23:03:00.000-07:002009-10-31T23:20:16.748-07:00Whitney's First Birthday!Holy cow! I can't believe that it has been a year since our sweet little Angel has come to us! Where did the time go? It makes me tear up thinking about how much we have been through to get her here! I am so glad that she is here. She is my sunshine! Well She had her first birthday on 10/29. Two days before Halloween! I am really glad that she didn't come on Halloween, I didn't want that. I don't know why, but I just didn't. Well on her Birthday I had to go to work and she was with Grandma Bezzant for most of the day, I couldn't wait to get home to see her and be with her. Trav wasn't home he was on the road and he was going to be home for her Birthday party on Friday! I got to my mom's and then took her shopping. We first went to Target and I picked out her presents, well actully Travis did too, because I called him a thousand times to give him the details about what I wanted to get, I couldn't decide, I found so many cute things. Also I got some stuff for the party and then went to the mall to find some white shoes for her and earings for me. Of course I had to go my favorite store for her. It's called crazy eight. I found the cutest little sweater dress and shoes and socks and cute heart baretts that matched the outfit! I couldn't pass it up. Then I decided that I needed to take her out to dinner. You always need to take your kids out for lunch or dinner on their birthday. We went to the Flaming Wok in the University mall, I thought that she would like the noodles. She LOVED them. I got sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken and I also got a sprite for us to share. It was so cute to watch her take her first sip of sprite, She took a sip and made a funny face and then I tried to give it to her again and she wouldn't take it, I think it was too fizzy for her and she likes her drinks warm (her milk has to be really warm) so I think that she didn't know what to do! That is fine if she doesn't want to drink pop, hopefully less dentist bills. :) Anyway it was a nice day, but it didn't feel like her birthday until Friday when we had the party. I will post soon about her birthday. I need to get the pictures off my camera. Trav stole the batteries out of it to put it in his camera, so I don't know when I will get them posted, but I will soon. :)Fairbourn Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07192634830481388132noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-910547687797520248.post-16195875317863308222009-10-17T20:53:00.000-07:002009-10-17T21:36:59.607-07:00Things that I don't like.Well.... I know I am way behind on our summer, but when you have a baby, you really don't have time to blog. But Whitney is asleep and I am on fall break so here it goes:

Anyway.... after his brother picked us up in his small little vehichle that reminded me of my uncle Kenneth's car. (that is another blog) we arrived at Travis's mom's house. She lives in Apple Creek, just a little town, I mean LITTLE town outside of Wooster, Ohio. Travis's mom lives in Amish Country, his across the street neighbors are Amish and so his mom's house (trailer) is the only one with lights on, Everything else is pitch black, you can't see anything. We got there pretty late and we were all tired. So some important things that we did there was one, that Travis's sister went and recieved her endowments! It was a great day! Travis's neice Adalaide watched Whitney while we were in the temple, and I was so nervous, because I have never left her with anyone except my mom, and my sisters. But Adalaide did really well! When were waiting for Angie to come into the Endowment room, I was sitting besides Travis's sister Heidi and then she walked into the room! I can't describe the feeling I felt when she walked into the room, there was such a strong spirit there! I started to get emotional and looked over at Heidi and I think she was feeling the same way I felt, because she was crying too! It was such a great experience and I was so happy to be in the Celestial room with my sweetheart! After the temple we went out to eat, I can't remember what it was called, but it was a buffet and it was really good, The next big event was our nephew Brandon that got baptized! Travis's brother Aaron baptized him and Travis was a witness and Confirmed him a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints! Again that was such a spiritual day! In Ohio they actually get baptized on Sunday and Confirmed the same day. I even get emotional now writing about this day too! Again there was a special spirit in the room as Brandon entered the waters of baptism and then again there was a special spirit as he recieved the Holy Ghost! I am so proud of Travis that he got this oppurtunity to do this and that he has always Honored his priesthood, so he could be worthy do to things like this! It was a amazing day! It was also a nice visit with my mother-in-law Cheryl, she is so sweet to me and Travis's family makes me feel so welcome, that I actually didn't want to come home to reality. Travis had to leave to go on the road and I wasn't going to leave until wednesday so I had two days with travis's mom, sister and brother and their families. One of those days we went to Tuscora Park! It was so much fun, but I didn't feel that great and so I was really tired. It is really funny, but Travis's mom hates to drive on busy roads, so I got to drive to Tuscora and it was different to drive in a city that I had no idea where I was going. Tuscora park was like a amusment park for little kids, It has a train, merry-go-round, ferris Wheel and swings, but the park was absoutley beautiful, but it wasn't for babies at all! But I did discover that Whitney LOVES to swing in the baby swings at the park. We also fed the ducks, by the time we were done, it was dark and it was time to drive back, but I forgot to bring my glasses and I can't see very well in the dark, so Travis's mom tried to follow Angie back to Apple Creek, but she couldn't Keep up with her (she kinda drives kinda slow). Now I know why Travis drives so slow! LOL. Whitney did really well on the plane again as were going home! This time theiy didn't have any extra seats so I had to hold her, but she was sooo good and she made a lot of friends on the plane, especially a little dog. Yes there was a dog on the plane, he was in a little doggie bag. Get it Doggie Bag! I crack myself up!! Anyway she thought that the dog was great and a lot of people were impressed how well she was behaved and how happy she was! Well that is about it. I hope you enjoyed reading about our trip, I had a lot of fun and I'm already looking forward to our next trip to Ohio this next summer, but one thing Whitney will be 19 months, so I have no idea how she will do on the plane, maybe next time I will have to drug her. (Kidding mom, Kidding) I love to watch my mom's eyes get big when we say stuff like this :)Fairbourn Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07192634830481388132noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-910547687797520248.post-62573247092552703572009-09-06T14:41:00.000-07:002009-09-06T15:19:29.767-07:00OhioI know that I haven't written for awhile, things have been crazy. But I still need to catch up on our summer, so here it goes. After the Fourth of July we were getting ready to go to Ohio to visit Travis's family. This has been a tradition ever since we got married, to go to Ohio in the summer time. We Left on July 15, 2009 This was Whitney's first time on a plane and I was a little nervous that she would be upset all the way there. Our Plane was to leave at 5 p.m. that day. My mom took us up to the airport and we went through security. I had to take her out of the stroller and they looked through my diaper bag. After that it was quick sailing to the gate. She was hungry so I fed her a bottle and then it was time to load the plane. I was excited, because before we got on the plane I asked if there was a extra seat and they said that there were and that I could take Whitney's car seat and she could have the extra seat. Whoo Hoo!! I was still nervous about her little ears. I heard that the taking off and landing could hurt her little ears so I made sure that she had her binky and a bottle just in case that she was uncomfortable. We got on the plane and waited a little bit to take off, but we were ready to go and she acted pretty happy! The plane started to go and then it started to take off, and soon enough we were up in the air. I looked over to see how she was doing and she was asleep!!! :) To make a long story short she did great on the plane and she didn't even sqwak one bit. She was happy as a clam. We landed at 11:00p.m. in Cleavland and Travis's sister Angie and his brother Aaron was there to get us. As soon as I got off the plane the humidity hit me, It was really warm and I was starting to sweat. I thought oh no it is going to be hot the whole time that we were there and I was worried that Whitney would get overheated, because Travis's mom didn't have any a/c. Anyway we met up with Angie and Aaron and went to get my Luggage. I guess that Aaron had driven up in his little red car and it was funny, because I told him that I had a lot before we came and we had a hard time fitting everything in his puny car :), but we made it and we were off to Wooster. To be contiued....Fairbourn Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07192634830481388132noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-910547687797520248.post-3773114817070858732009-08-24T17:29:00.000-07:002009-08-24T17:56:39.257-07:00Whitney's First Fourth of JulyYes it has been awhile since I posted last. :) I thought it was about time to post again. I had lots of fun picking out her fourth of July outfit, this time I had four outfits to choose from. :) They all fit her I found one at wal-mart, target and two at babies 'r' us. I decided that I really liked the one from Target. The top was red and white striped and the bottom was blue shorts. They were so cute on Her!! That night we were going to go to my sister's (Lisa's house) and eat dinner and watch the Pleasant Grove fireworks. (Note: this is a tradition that we have done since I was young to watch the fireworks, they used to to be at the highschool, but since they got a new football field they would never do them again, they were too worried that if some fell on the field that it would melt the "fake" grass, turf!) Anyway I was really excited to show her off to the family. I had just fed her and was about to put her down for a nap, when i smelled something. I thought oh no she poopied. Sure enough she did and it was all over her outfit and I thought grrrreat I really like this outfit, Hello, I have a washer and drier, I hurried and put another outfit on her and threw it in the wash. Travis got home in time to go to my sister's for dinner and we were off. They had ribs and they were really good!!! The meat was so tender that it fell right off the bone!!! Thinking about now makes me crave them and my mouth water. Lisa is a great decorator for parties and she has such good taste, she had her deck all decked out!! She had the tables covered in cute table cloths red, blue and white and tea candles set out! You would have been there, but it was so festive. I loved it!! And my sister is a great host!!! :) Anyway it was getting a little chilly i thought so i changed whitney into her p.j's and it was time for the fireworks. They were really good this year!! Anyway after it was done it was time to go back and help lisa clean up. It was a good day to be with my family and most of all it was a great day to be with Whitney and my sweet husband Travis. :)Fairbourn Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07192634830481388132noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-910547687797520248.post-9644189700665958152009-08-13T14:15:00.000-07:002009-08-13T14:46:55.003-07:00Strawberry Days Parade Contined!Well.. I know this is a little late talking about the Parade, but I have a lot of catching up to do! I think that this will become my journal. I am going to be honest! If you don't like anything I say too bad! :) The Next Morning we got up around 7 a.m. the parade started at 10:00 so we have to get up earlier because we live 40 minutes away from Pleasant Grove. This was going to be Whitney's FIRST STRAWBERRY DAYS!!! I was so excited. We hurried and got ready and off we went. I had three outfits for the day. The first one was one I bought before Whitney was even born. I looked at the tag and I was so excited to put her in it, I saw the tag and I was dissapointed it said 12 months and Whitney was only 7 1/2 months. I tried on her to see if it fit. Nope! It was way too big! The Second Outfit was One that my sister Karen bought for Whitney it was really cute. It had strawberrys all over it. It was a onsie. It was cute I looked at the tag and then it said 6 months. Oh no I was dissapointed and I didn't want to hurt my sisters feelings that I didn't put her in it. So finally the last one was I bought at target, but it wasn't cute as my sisters. I fianlly put it on and we were ready to go! I looked outside and looked up at the sky and it was cloudy! I thought oh please don't rain on us. I stepped out to see what the tempature was and it was cold! Maybe in the 60's but not what I wanted it to be for her first strawberry days, because her outfit was sleevless(I can't spell) so I looked around for her little sweater and put it on. Alright we were ready to go! We got there a little early and the only people that were there so far was my aunt Nancy (my dad's sister) and her Husband (uncle Robert) My family wasn't even there yet! Typical! ;) Anyway we got settled and waited for the parade to start. During that time, my family started to trickle in. Finally the parade started! It was a great Parade and she wasn't even scared of the Fire Engines, she just learned how to clap so she started to clap when the Fire Engines went by it was soooo dang cute. I didn't bring my video camera gosh dang it! Well, it did rain a little bit, but they still did the parade and after the parade we went to my sister Amie's House and had a bbq it was great they had a cotton candy machine that they rented and a snow cone maker, the only thing lacking was the smell of the carni ( the carnival always has the smell of cigratee smoke) we don't smoke, but we have a inside joke about that, but you wouldn't understand it. Anyway they also had strawberries and cream and sure was mmmmm Good! Then it started to rain and everyone had to run around and get the cotton candy machine and everything inside! It was a great Day!!!! I always look forward to that family tradition!! We usually don't even take a vacation during that time because their is so much going on that week. I am already looking forward to next year, becuase she will be old enough to go on the rides :)Fairbourn Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07192634830481388132noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-910547687797520248.post-19561205961962875412009-07-01T21:23:00.000-07:002009-07-01T21:38:01.417-07:00Strawberry DaysThis year was the first Strawberry Days for Whitney. There was a lot of activities that week, we first went to Huck Finn Days with my Sisters Karen, Amie, and my Sister-in-Law Lori and their kids Abbey, Braxton, Landen, Tyson, Mikayla, Hannah, Porter, Ila and of course Whitney. It was fun they had pony rides, a fish pond where you could catch real fish, face painting and etc, The only activity that Whitney really did was the face painting, (pictures will be coming soon) They drew a little heart on her face and she looked so adorable. Then everyone decided to go swimming, but we live in Santaquin and I didn't bring Whitney's Swimsuit or a swimsuit for me. I had a dentist appt that day also. Before I went Swimming I went to Wal-Mart and Got Whitney a pink heart Swimsuit and also one for me. I went to my dentist appt and had to get a route canal done. It wasn't fun, but they were fast. After that we went to the Pleasant Grove Swimming Pool. At Wal-mart I also bought her a floaty. It is a turtle. We got there and I knew that when we got there that she was tired. Amie had watched her earlier and had gotten her all ready in her swimsuit and she was ready to go, but I could tell that she was really Tired so I held and she went to sleep so it took awhile to get into the pool. I was hoping that she wouldn't be scared of the water. She likes her baths so I didn't worry too much if she would like it. After a while she woke up and I put her into her little turtle she didn't cry!! Wa hoo! She likes it, she was pretty quiet and didn't cry, but her face looked like she didn't know what to do in this "big bath tub" It was fun to watch her, she didn't get really excited like she does in the tub. I guess I was more worried about kids splashing her and her not liking it so I think I was a little overprotective of her. I should relax more :) well tune in Later for the Parade!Fairbourn Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07192634830481388132noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-910547687797520248.post-86167877969263253512009-04-12T15:15:00.000-07:002009-05-07T16:59:24.343-07:00Whitney's BlessingToday was a great day! It was Easter Sunday and also we were able to finally bless Whitney!! It was beautiful. It was great my whole family was there and Travis's brother Jody came too! Travis Blessed Whitney and the people that were in the circle were Travis, Jody, Uncle John, Great Grandpa Bezzant, Dave, Bryce, Kellen, Deric, Uncle Robert and Dad. After the blessing we had a luncheon at our house and it was really nice we had barbeque turkey and lots of food it was really good! I am so glad that she was blessed today. As I was putting on her dress I felt the spirit so strong that this little precious girl has the sweetest spirit and is such a good baby. I am so glad that she is in our home. She brings so much Joy to our home! I love her so much. I am also glad that Travis holds the priesthood and was able to give her a name and a blessing. She is five months, but the wait was worth it. It was a great and Spiritual Day!Fairbourn Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07192634830481388132noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-910547687797520248.post-16758853364890377072009-03-24T20:06:00.000-07:002009-03-24T20:14:58.407-07:00It Finally HappenedWell.... Yesterday was March 23, 2009. I was getting ready to go shopping for Whitney's blessing dress. She was playing under her play mat. ( which she loves) and I went out of the room for a minute and then I could hear start fussing a little bit and she does that sometimes when she is tired or hungry, but I thought that I had already changed her, fed her, what else could be wrong. She also loves to be held so I thought that maybe she wanted to be held, so I go into the living room and there she was on her tummy. She had rolled over!!! By herself and I didn't even get to watch her do it!! I was so excited so I put her on her back and see if she would do it again. Nope not a dang thing happened after that. I can't believe I missed it. I think that I have miss independent on my hands. :)Fairbourn Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07192634830481388132noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-910547687797520248.post-48820566151752848562009-03-17T20:33:00.001-07:002009-03-17T20:57:04.270-07:00through whitneys eyesTonight as I put Whitney to bed and watch her try to put herself to sleep I see that little hand come up and she looks at her hand like she has never seen before. As she twist and turns it to see how her hand works and she is amazed that it can move and it is attached to her. How we take things for granted like our hands where someone so tiny loves to look at her tiny hands and is awwed by their sight. As I rock her back and forth I think to myself of the out pouring love I have for Whitney this must how God feels for everyone of us. He wants us to be happy and he is always there for us no matter what our circumstance is. Before I became a mom I didn't understand how much God really loved me, but now that I am a mother I think I might understand that he loves me and wants the best for each of his children. What a blessing Whitney is to our family. She is a ray of sunshine and brings me joy everyday. Waiting 4 years was all worth it!! It was hard at times and I didn't think that I would ever become a mother. Yes it is hard sometimes with lack of sleep, but it is all worth it. I love being her mother and wouldn't ask for a better child. I hope she stays happy! I love my sweet whitney. Good Night Whitney see you in the morning!Fairbourn Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07192634830481388132noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-910547687797520248.post-12605868437197829532009-03-16T20:32:00.000-07:002009-03-16T20:36:59.621-07:00updatewell.... Well... we had a baby on October 29, 2008. I was in Labor for 22 Hours and Pushed for 3 and 1/2 hrs and they finally had to use forceps to get Whitney out. She finally came out at 2:08 in the morning and weighed 8lbs and 3 ounces and was 18 inches long. When they broke my water they told me that my fluid wasn't clear and that she had a bowel movement inside of me. When she came out she had her eyes opened and was looking all around. She didn't even cry! A team was there to get her going and her breathing wasn't very good she sounded really congested and I started to panic. They wouldn't let me hold her until I was sewn up. The next morning a pediatrition came to my room and told me that Whitney was in the NICU and told me that she had pnumoia. I asked the doctor why? He said that she had asperated the meconium in her lungs and that is what caused the pnumoia. She was in the NICU for Two weeks and she got to come home on November 10, 2008. She is still on oxygen and she is also on a apnea machine that monitors her breathing and heart rate. I am so tired, but I have a great husband that has helped me out! I don't know what I would do without him and I am worried about when he has to go back out on the road what am I going to do. He has helped out so much!Fairbourn Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07192634830481388132noreply@blogger.com1
